As we begin the start of a New Year and look back on what was, possibly, the strangest year we've experienced in living memory. Not only on a personal level but from a business perspective too - from coping with an unprecedented increase in demand at the start of lockdown - to having to open early during the summer months, knocking on doors at 6o'clock in the morning so we could complete a backlog of nearly 1,000 Annual Boiler Services in time for winter due to the 'non-essential' works ban - we've enjoyed (almost) every minute of it.
Over the past year, we've gained some interesting insights from our customers, for instance, who knew that the 6-8 am timeslot would prove so popular, booking-up weeks in advance! - and we’ve received some amazing reviews with our Trustpilot integration that will allow us to provide a better service based upon your direct feedback.
We introduced new ways of engaging with our customers too - allowing us to be closer to them than ever before. We introduced new products, services, and totally rebuilt our customer journey from the ground up, making it easy and convenient to book a job, get an instant boiler quotation online, track our engineers' arrival and get help when you need it most using Live Chat.
In 2021, we're going up a notch - a new Business Customer Portal, that will allow our Landlord, and Property Management Customers the ability to request and track their jobs in real-time, has gone live today - together with a total overhaul of our back-end support that will allow our customers to raise any issues or queries directly through our website on a ticketed system, ensuring that your queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently by the right member of our team.
Lastly, we're proud to finally announce the official launch of our new Service & Support Plans - we've worked hard to get these ready for 2021 and are now available to buy at www.embassygas.com/plans - simply follow the instructions to set up your direct debit, you’ll then be invited to complete our member onboarding form, and you're all set.
